Polyglyceryl-3 Stearate and Beheneth-5. Kostol PGP #402 by Koster Keunen is a non-ionic, low hydrophile-lipophile balance (HLB) emulsifier designed for multiple formula types. Acts as a wax & consistency factor, film former, emollient and barrier. It also acts as a sunscreen enhancer and dispersing aid. It is good for O/W and W/O emulsions and works well in low pH systems for the skin. It produces thick and creamy emulsions that feel light and hydrating on the skin. Kostol PGP #402 finds application in formulating cleansers, hair care, conditioners & straighteners, pomades, body washes, sunscreens, after sun care, creams, lotions, make-ups and mascaras. It has a minimum shelf life of 2 years and is certified by KOSHER.
