E00018 Carnauba wax T1

Copernicia Cerifera Cera. E00018 Carnauba wax T1 by Koster Keunen acts as a wax & consistency factor and thickener & stabilizer. It is obtained from the leaves of a palm tree named copernica cerifera and is free of genetically modified organisms (GMO). It consists mainly of esters (ca. 85 %), free long chain fatty alcohols (ca. 13 %) and free fatty acids and resins. It is a very hard natural wax that provides hardness, consistency, surface gloss and ease of application. It has the highest melting point and is suitable for improving the temperature stability of many cosmetic products. E00018 Carnauba wax T1 finds application in formulating sticks, make-up, mascara, decorative cosmetics and sun care products. Complies with EC regulations no. 1829/2003 and 1830/2003.
