KTZ® LAVENDER-11S2

Titanium dioxide (and) Mica (and) Carmine (and) Triethoxycaprylylsilane. KTZ® LAVENDER-11S2 by Kobo is a pearlescent and treated pigment. It gives rich lavender color, with red reflection. It has been surface treated with Kobo's 11S (Triethoxycaprylylsilane) treatment. 11S treatment forms a uniform, stable silane coating that greatly improves the dispersibility of powders in esters, mineral oils and silicone fluids such as cyclomethicones. This treatment enhances the dispersibility of the pigment, decreases surface activity and maximizes water repellency. The treatment also improves spreading, gloss, adhesion, feel on the skin and pressability in powders. It also increases deposition of the finished product on the skin. Used in eyeshadows, face powders, lipsticks, foundations, corrective skin products, sunscreens, body lotions, face lotions, body washes, shampoos and conditioners. KTZ® LAVENDER-11S2 complies with Europe, Australia, Japan and Canada DSL Inventory.
