Ultramarines (97-99 %) (and) Triethoxycaprylylsilane (1-3 %). BUP-11S2 by Kobo Products is silicone treated pigment that disperse well in cyclomethicones. Recommended for emulsions, hot pours, powders and anhydrous gels. Possesses very low surface tension and excellent hydrophobicity. Provides nice spreadability, creamy and wet feeling. It is compatible with esters, oils & silicones, shows poor wettability in common organic vehicles and offers maximum water repellency. Because of the lipophilic caprylyl groups, it is easy to disperse in esters, hydrocarbons and silicone fluids. Triethoxycaprylylsilane is a very reactive surface-treating agent, physicochemically stable even at pH 3, has no residual methanol, and due to the absence of Si-H bonds has zero hydrogen potential.
