Manganese Violet (CI 77742) (98-99.5%) (and) Perfluorooctyl Triethoxysilane (0.5-2%). BMV-FS by Kobo Products is a fluoro siliane treated pigment. It enhances hydrophobic and lipophobic properties due to the low surface tension typically associated with fluorinated materials. The treatment facilitates excellent spreading and adhesion to the skin while simultaneously preventing the agglomeration of pigments into fine lines and wrinkles. It reduces oil residual on the skin and the darkening shift of color is less noticeable in comparison to other treatments. BMV-FS is recommended for use in long wear liquid foundations, dry water foundations and pressed powder foundations. It also provides improved water resistance and long wear in mascaras. Complies with TSCA, DSL/NDSL, EINECS/ELINCS, IECSC and AICS.
