Keratech 1708

12-Hydroxystearic acid. Keratech 1708 by Kerax acts as an emulsifier and surfactant. It is prepared by the hydrolysis of hydrogenated castor oil and has high melting point. Keratech 1708 has limited solubility in many organic solvents and is insoluble in water. It is non-toxic, non-hazardous and provides resistance to moisture. Keratech 1708 finds application in formulating creams, lotions, gels and cosmetic products. Complies with ISO 9001.
