Polyacrylate-15 (and) Polyacrylate-17. SYNTRAN® PC 5205 by Zschimmer & Schwarz acts as a film former. The crystalline portion provides barrier, moisture retention, elasticity and tactile attributes such as lubricity and “feel”. The amorphous portion provides film formation, adhesion, substantivity, and formulation flexibility. Offers improved color retention, dye receptivity, increased gloss and lower raw material cost. Exhibits styling potential and film elasticity. SYNTRAN® PC 5205 is used in hair care applications.
