Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate. FARMAL™ MS 6822 by Ingredion acts as a thickener and conditioning agent. It is a non-ionic, bio-based polymer derived from corn. It can be used to obtain a creamy texture and enhance conditioning properties in opaque cleansing systems. It enhances skin after-feel and works well in traditional and sulfate-free systems. FARMAL™ MS 6822 is suitable for rinse-off cosmetic formulations such as body washes, shampoos and facial cleansers. The shelf life is 2 years.
