CI 77891 (93.0% with 97.0% rutile content). Acts as an opacifying agent. This white powder is insoluble in water, non-toxic and chemically extremely stable. Its surface is treated with silicon and aluminum compounds. It has excellent pigment properties such as high whiteness, gloss, hiding power, tint reducing power and dispersibility. It exhibits excellent weathering- and chalking resistance. Used in various cosmetics formulations.
