Orbignya Oleifera Seed Oil. Biochemica® Babassu Oil-Ultra Refined by Hallstar is bio-degradable, bodying-, emollient & moisturizing agent. It is a natural product derived from plants. It is the fixed oil obtained from the nuts of the babassu, orbignya oleifera, palmaceae. It consists primarily of the glycerides of the fatty acids lauric, myristic and oleic. It melts readily upon contact with the skin. Biochemica® Babassu Oil-Ultra Refined is very fast penetrating oil that may be used in creams, lotions, balms, and lipsticks, bar soaps or any anhydrous formulations.
