Rosa Canina Fruit Oil. Rosehip seed oil by Gustav Heess acts as an emollient and conditioning agent. It is obtained from rosehip seeds by pressing or extraction and is stabilized by adding natural vitamin E. It spreads well over the skin, is absorbed rapidly and exhibits anti-inflammatory & hypo-allergenic actions. Moreover, it is used to treat eczema, psoriasis, severely pigmented skin, scars, burns, contusions and dry, scaly, cracked or devitalized skin. It is not suited for oily skin and acts as base oil for skin treatment in old age. Rosehip seed oil finds application in formulating ointments and night creams.
