Cyclomethicone (and) Dimethicone Crosspolymer. BT-9078 by Guangzhou Batai Chemical acts as a film former. It also acts as a thickening agent for water-in-oil and water-in-silicone formulations and silicones fluids. It is a mixture of high molecular weight silicone elastomer in cyclopentasiloxane. It offers velvety touch, smooth, soft and non-greasy skin feel. It provides no balling effect when rubbed on the skin. It increases the persistence of fragrance. BT-9078 is used in skin care creams, wrinkle- and make-up products. It has the shelf life of 2 years.
