Hyaluronic Acid. PrimalHyal™ Gold by Givaudan Active Beauty acts as a hydrating, moisturizing, anti-aging, firming, regenerating, repairing and revitalizing agent. It is the first oil base compatible hydrated hyaluronic acid produced by means of sustainable manufacturing processes (bio-fermentation) which allows to incorporate hydrated HA in oil-based formulas. A specific molecular weight HA is incorporated into a micro emulsion to create PrimalHyal™ Gold. It increases by +45% the amount of total water in lips and +50% of free water, whereas the placebo totally loses its efficacy after 8 hours. It prevents TEWL, holds water into the dermis and improves skin bio-mechanical properties. It is suggested for use in pressed powders, body oils, sun-care oils, lipstick, lip glosses, mascaras, serums, foundation, balms and any anhydrous formulas.
