Ethylene-Dimethylsioxane-Ethylene Triblock Copolymer. SiBrid® EDEB-321 acts as an emollient. SiBrid® EDEB-321 is a triblock copolymer of ethylene and polydimethylsiloxane. It is a solid low melt-point material. It offers smoothness of paraffins without the waxy feel. When added to many organic and hydrocarbon systems its reduces tack and increases slip. At higher levels it can form barriers to moisture transmission. Used in cosmetics and personal care products.
