Madecassoside. TEGO® Natural Madecassoside by Evonik acts as a moisturizing agent. It is a highly-enriched madecassoside extract from tiger grass (Centella asiatica). Exhibits skin renewal properties and revitalizes the skin to promote its strength and power. It improves the skin barrier while increasing collagen synthesis and improving major cornified envelope components. It offers skin hydration with action on aquaporin-3. It calms acne-related inflammation by significantly inhibiting P. Acnes-caused cytokine release. TEGO® Natural Madecassoside is used in cosmetic formulatations.
