a-n-Hexyl-ß-Phenylacrolein. Kalama® Hexyl Cinnamic Aldehyde by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) acts as a fragrance ingredient and fixative. It produces a jasmine-like floralness when accompanied by more volatile chemicals of floral character. Contains the antioxidant BHT. It is used in perfumes, antiperspirants, deodorants, shampoo and soaps. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
