Elevance Smooth CS-110N

Hydrogenated Soy Polyglycerides (and) C15-23 Alkane. Elevance Smooth CS-110N by Wilmar International acts as a semi-occlusive film former, thickener, texturing agent and structurant. It is a 100% plant-based, multi-functional non-crystalline polymer manufactured from natural oils containing no genetically modified markers. It is compatible with a wide range of natural oils & other ingredients used in personal care applications, including both silicone and silicone-free systems. It structures a variety of oils to form a wide range of textures, from soft creams to firm waxy products. It can be used in conjunction with other cosmetic ingredients to alter the hardness of a stick or soft solid formulation. It shows a significant increase in viscosity when blended in the oil phase of a water-in-oil emulsion, compared to other oil phase rheology modifiers. It provides smooth, dry feel with no greasy residue. It allows formulations to be free from PEG, paraben, petrolatum and silicone. Elevance Smooth CS-110N is used to formulate body creams, body butters, body lotions, facial creams with SPF, lip balm, deodorant, hair care products, pomade, conditioners, lipsticks, eyebrow pencils, eye line pencils and mascara. It has a shelf life of 9 years. It is listed in the USDA BioPreferred catalog.
