Castor (Ricinus Communis) Oil (78-80%) (and) Aluminum/Magnesium Hydroxide Stearate (17-23%). Gilugel® CAO by BK Giulini acts as an emulsion stabilizer and thickener. For light emulsions it is recommended to use light oils and esters with good spreadability. Emulsions are normally stabilized with waxes, which tend to have an unpleasant, sticky skin feel. Improves the emulsion stability and prevents pigment sedimentation at higher temperatures. Gilugel® CAO is used in various cosmetics and personal care products.
