PEL-STAT™ G221

Benzyl Alcohol and Dehydroacetic Acid. PEL-STAT™ G221 by Elé Corporation acts as a preservative agent. It is globally approved, not tested on animals, does not contain formaldehyde donor and has low toxicity. It replaces paraben and offers higher efficacy at lower cost in use. It is more effective against bacteria than methylparaben and as effective as methylparaben & propylparaben against fungi. PEL-STAT™ G221 finds application in formulating skin care lotions and hair care products. Meets TSCA, SARA 313, Canadian DSL, WHMIS, EINECS, AICS, KECI, Japanese ENCS and IECSC. It has a shelf-life of 24 months.
