PEG/PPG-3/10 Dimethicone. PEL-SIL™ PEPG-310 by Elé Corporation acts as a plasticizer, emulsifier, emollient, humectant, wetting and conditioning agent. It is a high molecular weight, low HLB silicone. It imparts soft silky feel to the hair. It is stable in neutral or mildly acid or alkaline aqueous solutions. Its stability is reduced by strong acid or alkali. It is substantive and shows anionic surfactant compatibility. PEL-SIL™ PEPG-310 finds application in formulating styling formulas, lotions and creams. Meets TSCA, SARA 313, Canadian DSL, EINECS, AICS, KECI and IECSC. It has a shelf-life of 24 months.
