LignoBase™ Warm WS25

LignoBase™ Warm WS25 by Eckart is a natural, multifunctional antioxidant and SPF boosting ingredient. It offers natural color to formulations while avoiding white cast and providing protection against free radicals. It is derived by upcycling lignin from sustainable sourced plants with proprietary technologies. In cosmetic formulations, it helps achieve higher SPF or reduce the concentration of mineral and synthetic sunscreens.

• It is easy to process, even cold, oil & water compatible and can impart a slight browning effect in formulations.
• It can absorb more than 100% of its weight in oil.
• If LignoBase™ Warm WS25 has contact with water during activities such as swimming, the lignin particles responsible for sun protection sink and do not have a negative effect on the water or the environment.
• It is particularly suitable for sunscreens & creams with SPF, tinted creams and make-ups.
