PARSOL® 340

Octocrylene. PARSOL® 340 by DSM is a liquid UV-B filter that easily integrates with the oil phase of sunscreen formulations.

It is the most effective photostabilizer for PARSOL® 1789.
It is an excellent solubilizer for solid, crystalline UV absorbers like PARSOL® 5000, PARSOL® 1789, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate and Benzophenone-3.
When combined with other UV-filters, it imparts high SPF.
PARSOL® 340 is used in sun protection, after-sun and self-tanning applications.
