PARSOL® 1789

Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane. PARSOL® 1789 by DSM is a very strong and efficient UVA absorber for sunscreen and other skin care formulations.

It contributes to SPF and enables broadband protection when combined with effective UVB filters.
It is compatible with a range of solubilizers including PARSOL® 340, PARSOL® EHS, PARSOL® MCX, and many emollients.
PARSOL® 1789 is used in sun-care products.
