Polyox™ WSR-205

PEG-14M. Polyox™ WSR-205 by Dow acts as a foam booster, sensory- & texture enhancer. It is a water-soluble product designed to offers smooth and slip/lubricious after-feel. Polyox™ WSR-205 finds application in formulating shampoos & conditioners, shaving products, body washes, liquid hand soaps, bar soaps and styling gels. It provides foam density, emolliency, wet combing and spreadability. It can synergistically enhance conditioning of dry and wet hair and skin in formulations containing cationic conditioning polymers. It is used in skin and hair cleansing formulations, providing cues which reinforce the perception of moisturization and softness.
