EcoSense™ GL-60 HA Surfactant

Glycolipids. EcoSense™ GL-60 HA Surfactant by Dow is a sugar based, naturally derived bio-surfactant with emulsifying properties and >60% biodegradation. It is a sophorolipid with with medium to high HLB. It offers low foaming impact, effective solubilization of essential oils/fragrances and is suitable for clear system. It enables the creation of highly desirable mild cleansing products. It is cold processable, easy to handle, highly concentrated and has flexible to fine-tuned properties. It provides low carbon footprint process and low aquatic toxicity. It is used in rinse off shampoo, body wash, hand soap, facial cleanser, conditioner and leave-on products like micellar water, serum, wipe, make-up remover, lotion/cream, gel cream, hair leave-on conditioner. Due to its high active content, it is used at low levels to boost the performance of other bio-based surfactants enabling naturally derived formulations.
