Isododecane (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. DOWSIL 3903 Liquid Satin Blend by Dow is a mixture of high molecular weight polymer with unique rheology and texture in quick dry carrier fluid, isododecane. It is available in clear to translucent and colorless to slight amber color. It offers satin-like feel, increased stringiness, reduced friction and quick drying. It provides intense lubricity, light & silky feel and smoothness. It is suitable for cold processing. DOWSIL 3903 Liquid Satin Blend has the ability to create clear systems. It is recommended for skin care, color cosmetics, hair care and body care. It can be formulated into oil-in-water emulsions, water-in-silicone emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions, and anhydrous products. It can be used for conditioning, frizz control and curl retention. The shelf life of the product is 24 months. It is listed in the catalogue of Cosmetic Ingredients Used in China.
