Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethiconol (and) Dimethicone. XIAMETER™ PMX-1263 Fluid by Dow is a silicone gum blended with cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone fluid. It acts as a film former and conditioning agent. The cyclopentasiloxane functions as a carrier to deliver the substantive, high molecular weight gum and high viscosity fluid. It provides smooth & silky feeling without oily after-feel on hair and skin. It offers wash-off resistance and transient and long-term performance. It is directly added and mixed with other oil ingredients to make leave-in conditioners. It exhibits suitable viscosity for hair serums. XIAMETER™ PMX-1263 Fluid finds application in formulating skin creams & lotions and leave-in & rinse-off conditioners.
