XIAMETER™ OFX-5329 Fluid

PEG-12 Dimethicone. XIAMETER™ OFX-5329 Fluid acts as an emulsifier. It is a polyether functional siloxane fluid and imparts hydrophilicity & wetting. It emulsifies a variety of oils including mineral-, sunflower- and silicone oils. Moreover, it provides dry hair with a soft feel and detangling of wet hair. It exhibits an ability to reduce surface tension and hence can be used to prepare oil in water and silicone in water emulsions with improved aesthetics such as faster absorption, better spreading and smoother & lighter feel. Furthermore, it forms silicone vesicles which provide ease of processing and delivery of actives, containing up-to 30% vitamin E. It makes stable emulsions in various media such as alcohols and hair colorants. XIAMETER™ OFX-5329 Fluid finds application in formulating antiperspirants, deodorants, color cosmetics, thermodynamically stable micro-emulsions and skin-, sun- & hair-care products.
