DOWSIL™ EL-9140 DM Silicone Elastomer Blend acts as a thickening agent and texture modifier for water-in-oil or water-in-silicone formulations and silicone fluids. It is a mixture of 14 wt% high molecular weight silicone elastomer in volatile, low viscosity (1.5 cSt) dimethicone. It provides dry smoothness and light, silky & non-greasy skin feel. Moreover, it offers quick absorption, cold processing and easy formulation. DOWSIL™ EL-9140 DM Silicone Elastomer Blend finds application in formulating color cosmetics, sun-care, hair-care and skin-care products.
