It is a texture builder and provides dry, smooth, powdery, silky, luxurious & lubricious skin feel and enhances aesthetics of anhydrous formulations. It offers color intensity/uniformity and sensory enhancement. It is a non-volatile organic carrier fluid. It is cold processable and is compatible with a wide range of organic ingredients. It offers an ability to create clear systems with organic components and exhibits thickening benefits in alcohol-based systems. DOWSIL™ EL-8051 IN Silicone Organic Elastomer Blend finds application in formulating skin-care, color cosmetics, sun-care and hair-care products. Complies with NZIoC, DSL, KECI, REACH, TSCA, IECSC, ENCS/ISHL, PICCS, TCSI and AICS. The shelf life of the product is 24 months at 40°C.
