Dimethicone (and) Dimethiconol. DOWSIL™ Dimethiconol Blend 20 by Dow acts as a carrier and film former. It is a non-occlusive, high molecular weight hydroxy-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (dimethiconol) in a low viscosity, non-volatile silicone fluid. It offers long-lasting effects, wash-off resistance and smooth & lubricious feel. DOWSIL™ Dimethiconol Blend 20 finds application in formulating protective & barrier creams, scar treatment gels and skin & scalp treatment formulas. Meets NZIoC, REACH, TSCA, PICCS, KECI, ENCS/ISHL, IECSC, AICS, DSL and TCSI.
