Dimethicone. DOWSIL™ 200 Fluid 1 cst. by Dow is a non-polar, non-reactive fluid based on polydimethylsiloxane polymer. It acts as a carrier, wetting and conditioning agent. It offers low surface tension, broad viscosity range, water barrier, spreading and lubrication. It provides de-soaping, de-tackification, soft and smooth skin feel. It shows good organic compatibility. DOWSIL™ 200 Fluid 1 cst. finds application in formulating antiperspirant/deodorant (aerosols, gels, sticks & creams), skin care (creams & lotions), sun care and cosmetic products.
