EcoSmooth™ Silk

Ethylene/Octene Copolymer (and) C14-22 Alkane. EcoSmooth™ Silk by Dow acts as a conditioning agent. It is non-cationic ethane-1-copolymers (polyolefin) dispersed in water with an acrylic-based proprietary polymer dispersant.

• It provides equivalent conditioning performance without the use of silicone for an equivalent cost.
• It provides excellent wet/dry comb performance and also minimizes hair breakage.
• It also reduces build-up and volume-down effects as compared with silicone-containing shampoos.
• EcoSmooth™ Silk is especially effective with Asian and European virgin hair types, and is compatible with several common surfactant bases.
• Used in hair-care products like shampoos & conditioners.
