Lanolin Alcohol. It is of an animal origin, which is a purified mixture of sterols (Cholesterol, Lanosterol, Desmosterol and numerous other sterols) and aliphatic alcohols and diols (C18-C32), branched and non-branched. It is obtained by molecular distillation of saponified lanolin. Its key product benefits for hair care that it gives volume, gloss, prevention (premature oily hair), protection (head irritation) and excellent sensory properties. In addition, it gives moisture control to the skin, controlled transdermal transport, protection, convenience and sensory characteristics. It is highly recommended for hair colorants, hair conditioners and hair treatment products, also used in facial and body care.
