Carbomer 980 by Dalian Handom Chemicals acts as a thickener, suspending agent and gel base. It is an acidic, hygroscopic, loose white powder, which has a special slight odor. It is a high molecular polymer cross-linked with acrylic acid and allyl sucrose or allyl pentaerythritol, also known as carbopol.
