It consists mainly of aragonite (CaCO₃) and traces of conchiolin, an organic horn-like protein (albuminoid) compound. It supports the regulation of complexion and rejuvenation from dry to tired skin & hair. It provides moisturization and protection against environmental-damage effects. Pearl Extract is used in bath, shower & soaps, antiperspirants & deodorants, after-sun, body-, eye contour- and face/neck skin care products. Also, used in facial cleansers, foot & lip care, leave on & rinse off hair conditioners, nail color & color, scalp treatments and shampoos.
