Polyurethane-35. Baycusan® C 1010 by Covestro acts as a film former. It is a water-based polyurethane polymer (anionic) including 1.5% antimicrobial additive.

It forms a flexible and elastic film around the hair and protects it in any weather, without sticking.
It provides the hairstyle with strong initial and long-lasting hold with unmatched humidity resistance, curl retention and can be combed out without leaving any residue.
Shows strong resistance to flaking and is stable in very damp air or in a dry climate.
It shows good compatibility with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients including common synthetic and natural thickeners like Carbopol® and Xanthan Gum and polar solvents like ethanol.
It is used in hair styling products, hair treatment & leave-on conditioner.
It is approved in China market.
Baycusan® C 1010 is suitable for vegan and cruelty-free products.
