1,2-Hexanediol. Cosphaderm® Hexiol by Cosphatec is a non-GMO, non-VOC humectant and moisturizing agent. It shows unlimited water-solubility and pH-independent antimicrobial activity. It is used to stabilize o/w emulsions by droplet size reduction.

It increases emulsion stability by around 60% at application concentration of 1.8%.
It shows remarkable synergistic effects in combination with other antimicrobial substances, making it possible to minimize the total amount of combined preserving agents.
It is free of BSE/TSE, dioxin, formaldehyde, gluten, lactose, pesticides, residual solvents and phthalates.
It is suitable for both skin and hair care formulations.
Cosphaderm® Hexiol is Vegan, Halal and complies with (EU) No. 1223/2009 regulation.
It has a shelf life of 24 months.
