1,2-Heptanediol. Cosphaderm® Heptiol natural by Cosphatec is a non-GMO, non-VOC natural humectant and moisturizing agent. It is a pure, transparent, colorless and odorless diol of natural origin. It has pH independent antimicrobial activity.

• It is used to stabilize o/w emulsions by droplet size reduction.
• It shows remarkable synergistic effects in combination with other antimicrobial substances, making it possible to minimize the total amount of combined preserving agents.
• It is free of BSE/TSE, dioxin, formaldehyde, gluten, lactose, pesticides, residual solvents and phthalates.
• It is suitable for both skin and hair care formulations.
• Cosphaderm® Heptiol natural complies with (EU) No. 1223/2009 regulation, Vegan, Halal, COSMOS, NATRUE, Ecocert approved and ISO 16128 certified.
• It has a shelf life of 36 months.
