Creagel® Crystal IC

Isododecane (40-60%) (and) Polyisobutene (30-50%) (and) Ethylene/Propylene Copolymer (5-15%). Creagel® Crystal IC by The Innovation Company acts as a viscosity and texture modifier, thickener, film former and moisture barrier. It is a flammable, thickened lipid produced from various oils by a polymerization process. It thickens and modifies rheological properties, forms an occlusive film and provides the same skin care benefits as the lipids in which they are based on. It stabilizes the emulsion structures and the SPF values of suncare formulations with physical UV-filters. Evenly distributes UV-pigments and prevents sedimentation. It allows higher and more stable color loading than traditional formulations & delivers an even color distribution and a water resistant film. It provides gloss and shine & possesses excellent heat stability. Used in skin care, sun care and decorative cosmetics. It can be used in O/W and W/O emulsions and in anhydrous systems. It is listed with IECSC, IECIC, EINECS, ELINCS, TSCA, NZIoC, ENCS, PICCS, AICS and DSL. Creagel® Crystal IC has a shelf life of 3 years.
