Caprylic/capric triglyceride (96%) and Lavandula stoechas (4%). STOECHIOL by Codif acts as an anti-wrinkle active. This preservative-free product has a two-fold anti-wrinkle action i.e. it works like cellotape for the epidermis and works by fixing and relaxing the wrinkle through the reversible inhibition of muscle contractions. Possesses redensifying and restructuring action on the epidermis with immediate and long term reduction in the main wrinkle. It stimulates the division of keratinocytes in the basal layer, and promotes the production of the lipid cement involved in the restructuration of the stratum corneum. By increasing the expression of the adhesion proteins, Stoechiol increases the formation of inter-corneocytic links and thus promotes the reorganization of the corneocytes and therefore the cohesion of the corneal layer. The reconstructive action of Stoechiol strengthens the cohesion of the skin to decrease roughness and produce an immediate smoothing effect. STOECHIOL is used in anti-aging skin care products.
