PEG 3000 by Clariant is slip and mold-release agent. It is water-soluble carrier substance. It shows moisture-stabilizing effect in creams. It leaves a pleasant feel on the skin. It can be used in transparent toothpastes. It offers good compatibility with acetyl alcohol, glycerol, stearic acid, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, casein, vegetable albumin. It has no emulsifying effect.
