Butylparaben. Nipabutyl® by Clariant acts is a single preservative. It is a long-chain paraben for higher efficacy. It offers less water solubility and a good performance against fungi. It is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent designed for the preservation of a wide range of cosmetics and toiletries. It is suitable to preserve both rinse-off and leave-on formulations. It is used in shampoos, showers, liquid soaps, syndets, bar soaps, wet wipes, hair conditioners, antiperspirants & deodorants and decorative cosmetics.
