Aristoflex® A 60

VA/Crotonates Copolymer (87.4%) (and) Isopropyl Alcohol (12.6%). Aristoflex® A 60 by Clariant acts as a film-forming agent. It offers good hold and water resistance. It is a cold-processable grade. It is used as a hair styling polymer for the production of liquid, alcohol-containing hair-setting lotions and hair gels. The carboxylic acid groups in Aristoflex® A 60 enable the preparation of neutralized or partial neutralized solutions, using ammonia, amines or amino alcohols. It is particularly suitable for formulating hairsprays providing high setting action.
