PEG-12 Dimethicone. BeauSil PEG 205 by CHT Group is polyether-functionalized siloxane used in various personal care applications. It is used as a lubricant in shampoos and shower gels. It provides stabilization of foams, silky feel and plasticizing of polymers. It can be used in shaving foams as foam stabilizer for improving the gliding properties. BeauSil PEG 205 is recommended for use in hair care formulations such as hair sprays. Its shelf life is 24 months.
