BIOPOL® PE

Phenoxyethanol. BIOPOL® PE by Chemipol is a broad-spectrum preservative which is used for controlling fungi, yeast & bacterial growth.

It is a cost-effective grade which is fully soluble in the organic phase and does not act as a formaldehyde releaser.
It is effective in the vapor phase and stable in pH(up to 12) & temperature(up to 80°C).
It is especially active against gram-positive bacteria responsible for strong body odor and sweating.
Used for protecting personal care formulations such as emulsions, creams, lotions and gel.
Suitable for aqueous emulsion, leave-on and rinse-off products.
The shelf life of BIOPOL® PE is 24 months.
