PIB 10 by Braskem is polyisobutene-based emollient. It is composed predominantly of aliphatic mono-olefins. It is clear, bright and free from sediments or suspended matter.

It is obtained by polymerization of an isobutene rich stream with specific catalysts.
PIB 10 is used in cosmetics formulations.
It has a shelf life of 3 years.
It is NSF certified.
