Screen'Protek®

Butylene glycol (and) Water (and) Vaccinium Myrtillus leaf extract. Screen'Protek® by Berkem acts as a protecting active. It is a plant-origin active ingredient obtained from bilberry. It has shown an action on the barrier function of epidermal keratinocytes. Indeed, after the addition of the extract with an inflammatory stress (IL-17), the protection rate of the barrier function shows a dose-dependent increase. It restores the skin barrier deteriorated due to an inflammatory stress and acts as a shield against exterior assaults. It is 100% plant-based, preservative free and water soluble. Screen'Protek® is suggested for use in skin and body care products (Serum, mask, cream...). It is China compliant and ECOCERT/COSMOS approved.
