Cetyl Alcohol. VEGAROLTM 1698 acts as an opacifier, emollient, viscosity modifier, emulsifier / emulsion stabilizer, foaming- and masking agent. It modifies the consistency of the end product according to its purpose and provides skin conditioning properties. VEGAROLTM 1698 is added to transparent or translucent cosmetic formulations to make them more impervious to visible light. Simple to use and lends the products a pleasant, luxurious and creamy appearance with excellent quality and homogeneity. Applications include facial care, body care, hair care, massage oil, masks, aerosols and sprays as well as eye and lip care, sun care and decorative cosmetics. Also used in shampoos and hair rinses and treatments.
