Butyl Octy Salicylate. BELGUARD® BOS by Belchem Industries is an effective sunscreen actives solvent, inorganic pigment wetting agent, emollient, moisturizer, carrier, conditioning- and softening agent. It is a multifunctional, low viscosity liquid of high polarity. It is ideal for hair care, sun care, skin care and color cosmetics. It is deemed safe by the cosmetic ingredient review expert panel. Shelf life of BELGUARD® BOS is 2 years.
